Choose an AI music video workflow for your goal

“AI music video” can mean a singing portrait, a rap performance, a dance clip or visuals for an existing track. Choose by the output you need, not just the tool name; these workflows do different jobs.

Last updated:

1. For a photo singing a new melody, use Singing Photo

Start with one person for a solo, or switch to two references for a duet. Describe a birthday message, thank-you or short memory. The model creates a short original melody and vocals. If your requirement is exact lip sync to your own recording, this workflow cannot meet it because song uploads are not supported.

2. For words, flow and a beat, choose a rap tool

AI Rapper centers on one photo-based performer. A studio duet shares the microphone; Rap Battle and Diss Track emphasize an exchange or a friendly roast. The output combines lyrics, vocals, music and video. Use a different workflow if you need only a text lyric sheet or a separate mastered audio track.

3. For movement first, use AI Dance Video

Choose a dance setting and judge the existing examples by movement, framing and energy. Dance is the primary performance direction here, not a promise of a sung message or an exact dance copied from a reference video. A clear full-body photo gives more useful information for footwork than a cropped headshot.

4. For your existing song, recognize the missing step

This site does not take an uploaded song, replace a music video’s original performer or synchronize a whole commercial track. You would need an external audio-driven animation or editing workflow for that goal. A request mentioning a song title does not make its melody, license or timing available to this generator.

5. Compare limits before comparing model names

One request produces a 5, 8, 10, 12 or 15-second clip in an available model/resolution combination. Output ratios are 9:16, 1:1 and 16:9. Not every model supports 1080p. Higher resolution adds pixels, not guaranteed identity accuracy, and “Fast” is a model label rather than a delivery-time guarantee.

6. Start with a short, complete idea

Pick one subject or one pair, one scene and one short message. Review the displayed credit estimate and start with a modest available setting such as Mini at 720p. Typical generation is about 3–5 minutes, with longer waits possible. Evaluate identity, vocals and movement before paying for a longer or more expensive variant.

7. Plan the final edit and publication

Download the MP4 within its 30-day account retention period. Add your own captions, licensed soundtrack or longer edit in an external editor if needed; automatic lyric subtitles are not part of this generation workflow. Inspect the complete clip and confirm photo, likeness and music rights before publishing or using it for a client.

A brief you can adapt

Goal: a ten-second birthday gift with one recognizable face. Choose Singing Photo, one clear reference, a cheerful mood and one personal detail: Leo is turning 30 and loves weekend cycling. Request an original short birthday melody rather than a known song or a full-length track.
